Girl could easily die of shock

Many children of ten these days tend to like the scariest of things, these may include films, TV programmes and of those rides that you find at amusement parks, but for one ten year old girl even thinking about such things could be deadly.

Jennifer Lloyd would appear from first sight to normal girl aged ten, but looks can be very deceiving and should she even be in the room when a scary film came on, she would need to exit very fast indeed. She is one of only six known suffers of Polyglandular Addisons disease which will make her feel seriously ill if she ever became shocked or scarred.

The problem arise because the body is unable to produce adrenaline, which is what helps people survive an accident or shock, instead of this response the body actually goes into shock and the organ could begin to shut down if the attack was serious enough.
