Men want alcohol more than women

Recently there has been a lot of bad press regarding how it is women these days who have taken over the yob culture from men, quite simply because they have become victims of cheap drink. But in a study from researchers at the Yale University School of Medicine the findings are quite different.

The results found that while women do tend to suffer from depression more than men, it is men who are having the cravings for alcohol and thus tend to suffer more from alcohol related problems. This is especially found to be true when men get stressed or emotional they tend to find the solution in a drink.

However this could answer the question about the women who behave badly, it is simply because they are not used to handling drink in the manner that men are. This could explain why at weekends there are quite a few drunken women, falling all around the streets.
