Water bettered by Tea

We are always being told to drink plenty of water, but sometimes the amount that is recommended is just too much to handle, this is especially so when people are having to travel to work or go on long journeys.

But it now seems that water may not be the only thing, for research being carried out by the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition has found that despite what we have been told, tea does not dehydrate the drinker, in fact it could be better than drinking water.

Not only can tea rehydrate the drinker, it has properties known as flavonoids, which are said to be an ingredient in promoting health and protecting the body against cancers and heart disease.

While water replaces those fluids that the body has used up, tea will do the same and provide those much needed anti intoxicants.
