Australian Biomed Experts in Wales

A group of the top biomedical and biotechnology firms are presenting a showcase in Cardiff, Wales. The idea is to enable them to present themselves, the work and the companies to possible business partners in the area.

The reason behind this showcase is a strange one, as it has to do with the Rugby World Cup. In 1999 it was held in Wales and many contacts were made there. This has presented Wales and in particular Cardiff as a destination that these biomed professionals felt that they could work with the people and the location.

This just goes to show that by staging a major sports event, it can lead to partnerships being made for the city that will only improve it and that of the lives of the people in the community through jobs and investment.
