Even bees get hooked on coke

It is a strange thing, but bee’s can also get hooked on the chemicals found in the coca plant, and should they become influenced by the effects of withdrawal in the same fashion, as an addict would be.

Yet cocaine would normally repel insects, this is a natural defence mechanism produced by the plant to protect itself against an insect attack. Yet Bee’s would appear to be immune to this chemical in fact quite the opposite it attracts them.

How this will fair during the course of the research has yet been made clear, maybe the researchers could eventually find a fast and safe way of getting people off the drug and back into the world without all of the problems surrounding it.
