Ambulance crew arrested

Calling out an ambulance for most people is serious event; most people only do so when they feel that there is no other alternative left to them. This is what seemed to have happened when Barry Baker dialled 999.

The ambulance crew arrived as you would have expected, but by then the patient was unconscious. The crew are said to have been recorded discussing whether or not it was worthwhile reviving him, this was because he passed out while still on the phone to the emergency services.

As a result the crew left Barry Baker who eventually did die, having heard this the call centre staff informed the police, where shortly after two people aged 35 and 44 were arrested and questioned about the event.

They have been released on bail while the police continue with their enquiries.
