Some additives linked to lung cancer

Food additives are blamed for many things, but it seems that one such addictive is being blamed for the spread of lung disease and cancer.

The culprit is inorganic phosphates, these can be found in processed foods such as cheese, meat and bakery products, what they do is increase the products water content and therefore improve the foods texture.

Research found that during the 90’s an average does of these substances in adults stood at around 470 milligrams, but because of today reliance on fast food this has increased to over a 1000 milligrams per day.

The only way to avoid this is to cut back on the processed food.
