Smoking makes girls’ fat

Smoking for girls is a lot worse for them, than it is for boys according to research by the Department of Public Health in Helsinki, smoking is not only a danger to health, but it can make girls put weight on, giving them something else to worry about for the future.

It does not take that much either, girls who smoke around ten cigarettes per day, will be putting their figures at risk, in fact there is some research that states a difference of a couple of inches on the waistline, than those who do not smoke.

Fortunately, for boys this problem does seem to happen, yet in young women those who regularly smoke are likely to be 2.32 times more likely to become over weight, yet common feelings are that those who smoke will actually lose weight in the long term.
