Ageing can be cured

To cure something would imply that it’s an illness, well that is exactly what biomedical theorist Aubrey de Grey claims, and he believes that it is a disease that can be cured. And he has raised over $10 million so far to fund his research further.

According to his research, life expectancy has increased steadily over the last one hundred years by two years every decade or if you want to put it into another perspective, for every hour that we live, our life expectancy grows by twelve minutes, makes you think that one!

So his theory is that the equation can somehow be tipped in the favour life expectancy until you reach the point that you live for sixty minutes and get sixty minutes added to you life expectancy, therefore making you able to live forever.

And I thought eighty odd years was long enough!
