Old and senile should do the right thing

The has been a lot of coverage regarding assisted suicide and how this effects the families etc. But it seems as if that was not bad enough there are suggestions that older people who are found to be suffering from dementia should do the right thing and stop wasting the resources of the NHS.

The right thing would appear to be ending their own lives and the suggested comes from 84 year old Baroness Warnock, who happens to be a medical ethics experts.

The Baroness claims that any patient who is suffering from dementia is wasting people’s time. The people that she is referring to, being the patient’s family and the NHS staff who have to treat them.

The amazing claim is bound to create a rift between families and the NHS who will just be looked at as wanting to save cash.
