Jobs created by cash injection

It is expected that almost 100 new specialist jobs will be created at Dundee University over the next few years. This is because of a massive £6 million investment in the biomedical research centre, the college of Life Sciences, making it the largest of its kind in the UK.

This investment will be used to create two new divisions and it is expected to create even more investments, possibly as much as a further £10 million.

The main research will revolve around the study of cancer, with a view of finding new treatments and to generally study the disease in full.
