Carrots don’t fight cancer

It was way back in the 80’s when it was claimed that carrots can help the fight against cancer, and the attention turned to the supplements of Beta Carotene and vitamin E, but the trails have found that there is no link to a prevention of cancer, but in men it would seem that there could be link to the supplements having an increased risk of developing the disease in males.

And so the market for supplements is huge, billions of pounds per year and the research continues, but with similar results, the facts are that Beta carotene does not reduce the risk of cancer, but it was found in the most recent studies, that there could be a possibility that they could help cardiovascular disease and even Alzheimer’s.

Before people rush and buy these supplements, nothing has been proven and overdosing on vitamins and supplements can be dangerous.
